Viscount-endorsed pianist and composer Walter Kemp 3 is a dynamic force in contemporary jazz, an artist whose roots run deep and whose sound moves boldly forward. Raised by a classical and gospel composer father, Kemp’s musical journey began early, inspired by witnessing his father’s works performed at Carnegie Hall. Classically trained, shaped by gospel, and ultimately drawn to jazz, Kemp developed a voice that bridges tradition and innovation with striking authority.
